Book Challenge 2009
Several Goodreads members have been setting up reading challenges for themselves. I thought this was a splendid idea. I have several books that I would love to read, but somehow life keeps getting in the way. I tell myself that I’ll start tomorrow. Tomorrow comes and goes and I still haven’t picked up a book. I thought that perhaps a public challenge shared with my blogging friends might help me stay focused and read. I did a google search for Book Challenges and found two that are a perfect fit.
This challenge is presented by MizB and is simply to read your own books. You can also join the Yahoo group and discuss what you are reading with others who have joined the challenge.
2009 Read and Review Challenge
This challenge is simply to review each book read during 2009. Again, there is a Yahoo Group you can join and discuss your books with others.
Below you will find my list of books. This list includes books for both of the above challenges. Library books are marked and of course reviewed. I invite you to make comments, hold me accountable, and visit often in the coming year for reviews and updates.
