Confessions of a Shopaholic

As I began reading this book I found it somewhat superficial and a little slow. However, the more I read the more interesting the story and characters became. By the end I was quite engrossed in the story. I found the main character, Rebecca, to be a little silly and quite superficial at the beginning. As the story progressed she grew and I came to quite like her. She has a huge imagination that often takes off with her in tow. She’s young, living in London, and struggling to grow up. It was fun watching her grow and become more responsible plus the whole shopping aspect made the story fun and even informative. I had to question my own shopping habits and wonder at the times I had been fooled by what appeared to be a good deal. I will definitely be more careful in the future. I am looking forward to seeing the movie made from this book. I think it will translate onscreen quite well.
