I’ve been a bit absent lately with good reason. My husband’s birthday was Thursday and since we were both working we celebrated Friday night! We had a wonderful time at the movies watching Coraline. This was followed up by a bit of shopping and then a wonderful meal and dessert at The Outback. We bumped into my sister and her boys at Target and my oldest nephew shared with me a new joke. He made this up himself, after watching Hotel for Dogs.
“What did one dog say to the dog who was trying to steal his food?”
“Hey, Get your paws off!”
Saturday, we found ourselves having dinner with friends. They cooked on the grill and the meal was delicious! The conversation was wonderful as well. Sunday was filled with church, an afternoon drive, and finally crashing on the couch. I’ve been busy with my nephews the last couple of days. The littlest one found the chocolate milk mix. I found him sitting on his bed which was covered with chocolate powder. What a mess! I only wish I had had my camera. There you have it folks, my last few days in a nutshell. I do have a post in the works and hope to get it out soon. We are heading out of town this weekend to celebrate yet another birthday! February is a busy birthday month in my family! Surviving is a real achievement!
